Serving Generations of area families, The Wayside has been tantalizing taste buds since 1936. While we are one of the oldest restaurants in South-Western Ontario, our decor and food reflect contemporary tastes. Our restaurants exudes an ambience that you are sure to enjoy. it is the jewel in Elgin's crown!

Conveniently located at the junction of Highways 3 and 4 in Talbotville, it is minutes away from St.Thomas and London with east access from Highway 401, and 402. The Wayside's spectacular indoor fountain welcomes you to it's spacious bar and dining room. The bar serves both the after work crowds and families dining out.  An excellent variety of finger foods is available between noon and midnight. The wine list carefully selected with selections from Italy, France, and the New World. Included are some of our World renowned Niagara wines. A good selection of Liquors and Liqueurs complement our wine list.

Stay for a wonderful selection of food. From fish to steak, and lobster to chicken, our food comes in heaping portions and our staff is trained to cater your needs with style and grace.
